Get yourself a pair of Machine Art X-heads. They'll both cover the scratches and minimise the damage should the same happen to you.

EDIT - Keys.
I keep my keyless fob in a waterproof pouch hung from a lanyard around my neck. It not only makes it difficult to lose, but more importantly given the cost of a replacement goes a long way to preventing accidental damage. The pouch I have is a quality one from UK company, expensive for what it is, but here we are five years later and it looks & works like it was new. As
@Steve398 said, get yourself a standard key for the panniers & seat. Again it keeps the very expensive keyless fob safe from wear or damage.

Yes I did. I didn't know what the heck it was for, but I did some reading. So, it can be used as an emergency FOB to start the bike yes? It has a chip in it?
I downloaded the PDF owner's manual. Me thinks I have a lot to learn.
