oof, thats a pretty low offer
i expect the dealer would try to sell that for around £7-8000
I was in the Honda bike dealer recently and they said sales of anything over 750cc are really slow
there is a shrinking demand for big heavy bikes, especially ones that need a bit of work. "bikers" are getting older, and cannot manage big heavy bikes anymore, hence all the major manufacturers releasing more 300-500cc bikes
my RT has been a great touring bike but i am not sure i would get another as they are quite pricey to run/maintain (not as easy as a honda as every job seems to need a special BMW tool, and living with worry that the clutch or final drive will fail and result in a massive bill), next i will go 750cc japanese i think
