More options here, through the Peak District to Holmfirth, Hedden Bridge, Widdop, Skipton, part of the Yorkshire Dales, past some reservoirs and through Masham to Thirsk, 165 miles in 5 hours riding time, plus P&T stops.

I don't think we need other options David, as Simbo has already taken the time and effort to produce a route for us from Chesterfield.

Hopefully, I'll be at Chesterfield on Friday morning for 10am.
Options depending on the weather forecast.

Looks like I'll be leaving from home Friday morning, the kennels open at 10 for overnight stays, they won't let me drop the dog off earlier.

Re: UK Annual Meet 2025
Hi Glenn
Look forward to meeting you at Thrisk on Friday evening.
I don't know if it's been mentioned in the thread, but once you get to the hotel the private car park is at the rear.
So if the hotel is on your left, ride past and follow the road round to the left, then turn left at the Ritz Cinema on to Chapel street.
The carpark is near the bottom on the left.

Hi Michael,
I'm in the Fourways guest house so will wander over once I get booked in. Does everyone normally eat in the hotel or somewhere else?

Hi Glenn
We normally have a couple if beers and decide as a collective in case there are more people to arrive.

Re: UK Annual Meet 2025
I've invited some non-forum members or RT owners to ride with me from Thirsk on Saturday from 10am.

Re: UK Annual Meet 2025
David, "With me" implies that you (and they) will be following your route. If that's correct, I would suggest a slightly different start time to avoid unnecessary confusion.

Re: UK Annual Meet 2025
David, I don't understand why you would plan a separate route from the organised one, and then start it from the same place, at the same time as the organised one? Are you that desperate to be 'at the front'......?!
I know Dave C has spent time and effort planning the organised route to ensure maximum enjoyment for everyone, yet you've chosen to dismiss it. Having been on one of his ride outs before, I know it will be a great ride.
You've asked before why you don't "fit in" with the group. Here is a prime example of how you deliberately alienate yourself from the group. As I see it, you're giving a firm "fu#k you" to Dave C and his organisation. Personally, I find that incredibly rude.
