David, In December 2024 a number of members raised concerns about your attitude both online and at the annual meetings. I’m very happy to share those messages if your memory needs to be refreshed.

You apologised and claimed that you would make an attempt to try harder. Your apology was met with some scepticism and the phrase ‘actions speak louder than words’ was used.

Your actions regarding this years meeting tells me all I need to know about the sincerity of your so called ‘apology’.

On reflection, I’m glad you’re taking a different route to the organised one. Just like the others, I don’t want to ride with you either.

Damn, saw a group of BMWs early afternoon going up South Ferriby hill and wondered if it was you lot. In hindsight I should have turned around and gone back to Barton and said hello. Hope you had a good ride out and avoided the showers.

Markus & I had an inspiring ride from Chesterfield to Thirsk via the Peak District, The Pennines and the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.

Not just riding, did some touristy things and had some lovely P&T stops along the way.

At Thirsk, met up with all the others again, now including Mike & Glenn.

Will be back at Thirsk for 10am tomorrow (Saturday) to do the boundary of the North York Moors. Looks like there will be 4 of us, all are welcome.

Enjoy your night guys, see you in the morning.

Unfortunately, the organiser hasn't been able to make it.
