All the tyres will have the same load ratings, IMO, that is why fitting GT's etc. may not be necessary. The other bikes in the group had Michelin Pilot Road 2's and Michelin Road 6's, (2 bikes).
We all rode together at the same pace in the same conditions. Therefore, my conclusion is all three tyres are as good as each other in the wet.
it won't make any difference Doctor. I've used Pilot Road 2's,3's,4's,5gt's. I usually get around 10 to 11k miles out of a pair of tyres no matter what model. I know someone who had Michelin Road 6's fitted by a BMW dealer. Their recommendation was GT for the rear only, standard tyre on the front. Seriously though. I don't think there are any particular bad tyre's for bikes. Just riders who have no confidence in their tyre's, especially when you throw a bit of rain into the mix.

I got home and thats all that matters right
