Quick Shifter

How do you determine if a quick shifter is fitted, it was easy to tell on mn my Triumph as it had an ignition cut out in the shifter mechanism?

Look at the gearshift shaft. In the following diagram, assembly 11 replaces item 1 if Gear Shift Assist is fitted.
