Does anyone have an idea of the cost to replace a key on a wethead with alarm, keyless ignition and central locking?

Also does the dealers require the bike to code it? As I know some manufacturers can do it at the factory via your vin

Had a new key with all of the above minus central locking.Cost was around £230 from memory.They told me to take the key and rest it on the dash above the clocks to code it/get the bike to recognise the new key.No matter what I did,it just wouldn't work so ended up taking the bike to them.They did it in minutes,so my advice would be to take the bike to them when you pick the key up.
They don't need the bike in the 1st place,just the logbook

My bike has just been delivered back with a bent key! its a right mess! it never went in like that so I am going to be pushing for a replacement at their cost

If you mean a dumb key, it's about £25. If it a remote and it's the actual key blade that's broken but the electronics are okay it might be worth popping into a Timpsons. When the flip out key blade of my car keys broke they took the guts out of the orignal key fob, transfered the electronics to a new flip out fob and then cut a they key blade. About £45 or £50 if I remember correctly.

I've no idea if they do motorcycle key fobs, but it's worth a quick phone call.

@Capt Sisko its the all in one fob and key with the remote central locking and alarm built in to one unit

I don't intend on paying for it myself but more interested in what the cost of replacement would be!

I had to buy a new fob for my car. I had to prove ownership,insurance,3 household bills, driving licence and my knob size. After paying just under £500 they said I didnt need all that as the car is a lease car. Three weeks later I was refunded the £500 as it was covered on the lease plan.
Your bike coming back with a bent key is a different situation. If it is just the metal part that fits in locks, then you can just get a new part cut. As this part has no connection with the alarm of Central looking.
if you know the dealer It may be easier to convince them it happened whilst in their workshop. Happy putting your point across and good luck. keep us updated.

One reason i take my bike to the dealer and pick it up myself as you can just on it straight away. But I also know some are just too busy to do that
