Recommended music headphones

I've tried a lot of speakers over the years.

My recent favorites were the disc variety that stay in your helmet all the time. You plug a connecting cable in to send music to them. That convenience is game changing.

Trouble is, that sound quality isn't very good.

What worked better were ear plugs.
They block outside sounds, and the comfort is the same as in-ear ear plugs.

These have speakers built in and produce decent sound.

- they noise cancel
- they're comfortable
- they give decent quality sound

And one more thing, they don't cost much.

I use Sony wic-200 or 300, then add memory foam plugs to replace the silicone. Seals noise out very well. There is a wire from left to right with a controller on the wire. I add Velcro the controller on the wire and stick to my helmet and put the wire outside my jacket behind my head so I don't accidently snag it with a hand while moving my hands (zipping jacket, etc.)
The Sonys can be had at AliExpress for $17! 8 hour batteries on a charge I can hear every word in a song unless strong crosswind

I use Syphon Sound Pro helmet speakers. I could never keep earbuds in place when putting on/taking off my full face helmet and they would never stay in the right position.

These ear buds sit inside your ear canal, like ear plugs, to be precise. That makes a significant difference.

This sort of thing works great for me.

Wires stop you losing buds.
I buy better foam plugs than come with the earbuds.
They block wind whistle and road noise.
Cheap and cheerful. But they work. Been riding with em for years.

and Velcro the left side controller to your helmet.
