A useful thing for foreign touring?

Stolen from another forum…

I’ve ridden on the wrong side of the road twice on the tours, not bad in 37 years I guess but could have ended in tears!

Perhaps this may have helped?

DriveRight Lane Safety Device

Sticks neatly to windscreens without messy adhesive
Re-usable time and time again
Easily reversed for driving on the left/right side of the road
Driving in Europe? Stay safe with Driveright. The simple transparent reversible sticker that helps you drive on the correct side of the road.

As you Steve,I've found meself on the wrong side when abroad. I've developed the mindset to allways have the kerb on my righ, works well for me now, experience and repetitive telling meslf has done the trick and it works. If anything,I have more of an issue when I get back home, just aswell its straight onto the motorway from the ferry/train :thumb:

I didn’t qualify my ‘twice’… it was once in France and the second was trying to go to the right onto a roundabout in Folkestone when we got back to the UK, Debs got a bit excitable on that one!

A piece of yellow tape on the mirror stem or screen is just as good

I've been touring Europe for over 40 years, so the right side of the road comes naturally now. Having lived in France for over 10 years makes it easier, too.
If I've been over there for longer than a month, it takes me time to adjust to our side. I once rode the wrong way around the roundabout leaving Dover port. Luckily, it was in the middle of the night.
