RT1200 nigles

Hi guys , i've bought a r1200rt on a 16 plate, 30 k on the clock. love the bike on the open road.
Question , I am finding that when riding at 3-3500 revs I get tingling ( and some numbness) in my right hand.
Anyone else had this ? I know my old Fazer thou had a flat spot at 25-3000rpm , designed in for emissions, I ivanised it and got smooth power response all the way through.
Bike sounds like a tractor below 2000rpm but still has loads of grunt , really comes on song above 4000rpm.
All the services have been documented , wondering if it is worth checking valve clearances anyway?
Second question , I am looking at fitting aftermarket running lights/spots . The dinali ones appear exorbitant. i had some Cree auxilaries fitted to an old Fazer 600. (bought from Bike Viz) Wiring was simple.
i don't understand all this CAN bus wiring ( my mechanic traing was 40 years ago and i left trade and never kept up).
Has anyone used / installed other aux lights and how do you wire them in??
I've had bike for two weeks am struggling to park it ( iam 65) . Finding heavy traffic a nightmare . I have already had to adapt riding style , if Ican keep bike rolling , even at 1 mph, happy days . Having to keep putting feet down is tiring and kind of negates the point of a super comfortable touring bike.
And yes the simple answers are keep the revs outside of 2500-3500rpm and stay out of traffic!! not always possible.
I am planning to keep this bike for at least 2 months , however seriously considering swapping her for an r800 gt, thoughts? Stu
