I'll try and make this make sense.
I have a 12V AC electronic system and want to fit a 12V LED spotlight(similar to a Denali spot)I believe the LED spots are all DC.I have done some searching and " i think" i need an LED driver to power the single spot)Could anyone shed some light(yes I know

)on this,if its possible then what sort of driver and the power it will let me have. Thanks gents.

Hi
if I understand your post correctly and you want to use your 12ac on a 12v dc system, then you can get a cheap compact 12v ac to dc or dc to ac convertor. they are circa £10 -£15 from Amazon.
super simple to wire in.

Would it work ok with a fluctuating current.

Yes something like that should be fine and at that price well worth ago.
I can't see your input voltage fluctuating to the point your LED pulses (dims of flashes)
