Sad day for the RT

In January, i will be going to the hospital to have both knees and hips replaced, plus with my wife suffering from cancer. I have over the last 2 weeks, decided that my lovely has to go. This is a hard job to do as I've sent loads on it(servicing and add-ons), it is also 100% reliable and comfortable on long trips.
This doesn't mean i will be gone from the site. I will still be putting my tuppence in when needed( have to do something whilst my legs are up) Also, you unruly lot need someone to watch over you :-D
I will be putting the bike up for sale on here for £1.999 before plonking it on eBay.

New hip fitted. Feels more painful, but that was to be expected. A little test and i feel more flexible. Can't wait for the other side to be done. Hip, Hip, Hop, Hop :-D

When my wife had her knees done last year the nurses said you'll hate us for six weeks, then you'll love us. One last comment, as the Doctor said to my better half, you can be in pain if you want to be, but you don't have to. Drugs have move along a long way in recent years and there are ones designed to target different types of pain. If what the docs have given you doesn't work, talk to them and get something better. You're the one that's suffering and it's no skin off their nose what they prescribe.

Best of luck for your recovery and do what the physios say.

They couldn't give me painkillers as ive been on Tramadol for years. The amount i take, the GP said i should be in La La Land. Wish i was. It's only been a week, so i exspect pain. Least i know what the other one will feel like.
