Parasitic drain

I think I have a parasitic drain on my 2016 RT. I suspect something has happened since it was serviced as the battery has been going flat from about then. I have disconnected all the accessories, which was fairly easy as I have a Hex EzCan, but left the Innov camera connected. Now I have found that it is not powering up and the power convertor is blowing the fuse when connected. Just wondering if this was my problem all along or just a coincidence. It’s booked to go in next week to the stealer so they can check it over. I’d check for a drain but my multimeter doesn’t go low enough. When not on the Optimate the battery, which is new, will last about 3 days as I found this morning when I needed the bike! Any ideas gratefully received!

It could be anything causing the drain! The trouble with these bikes is they don't really have a fuse box to be able to putt fuses one at a time to see when the drain stops

I doubt it’s the camera as that has given up! Burnt SD card so I think it’s had it. I’ll remove it and replace it with its replacement, an Innovv K3 I’ve had for ages. Still no idea what is causing the drain as the battery was flat again this morning.

On my old battery, fully charged it would only last 3 days. Turned out to be 2 dead cells in the battery itself. New battery and everything is fine again.
At first i thought it may be the alarm and the cameras, but it was just a battery.
Sounds like your SD card is corrupt

Oh the SD card is corrupt and I can’t get anything off it as it has swelled internally. The Innovv camera DVR is also toast as is the power supply. I have a feeling that these were the culprits and need to gradually reconnect stuff to check. The battery is new.
