So insurance is due again, I’m with Bemoto but full comp inc everything has gone from £167 last year to £245 this time, I’m sure I can haggle them down again but I’ve recently got a speed awareness course whilst doing 35 in a temporary 30, it’s booked in for March.
I’m unclear if I need to tell them about the upcoming course ?.
Also I see Bemoto score 4.9 stars on Google etc, anyone have any thoughts on them ?. I went to them a few years ago as Carole Nash were rude and refused to haggle despite many years of loyalty.

Years ago, I had a SAC, I didn't tell the insurance company.

The question they ask is, "have you had any motoring convictions or have any pending".

IMO, you have not been convicted of anything so don't tell the insurer.

There is no provisions to tell them about it on the quote and it is seen as an alternative to points which is the question what is asked of insurers! You only declare points and accidents

Thanks, on the go compare website which I do annually to get some prices I’m sure there was an option drop down box.
I’m just about to call bemoto to haggle the quote!.

Update, I did tell them of the upcoming course and you guys were right so that was good, now for the haggling part which didn’t go well. They now have a policy of renew or loose custom when it comes to waving thier £60 admin fee from the start of this year. This is where I made a big saving last year.
As I’ve got a lot on my plate at the moment I just renewed at £240  . It does include full home start breakdown, helmet and leathers etc plus a protection on the excess up to £500.

Could be worse I guess !.
