Apple play mirroring screens.
I’m really fed up with my experience of myrouteapp/GPX FILE loading onto my Navigator V. I can easily send to device, but then when I have the route showing at the same time, using iPhone next to the nav V, they are identical for 80/90% of the time, but then the nav V wants to send me a different way !!! I’ve been playing with this for two weeks now, and only occasionally are they truly identical. Thats my issue, and has now got me to the stage of just wanting a larger display apple play mirroring screen to use with the phone. Can anyone recommend such a device that fits into the older style (2017 year RT) BMW cradle and works really well. If so, please advise as I’m loosing the will to live on this one. Many thanks for any advice, suggestions or help. Jeff.

Go and welcome to the forum
You're not using enough shaping/waypoints that's why you get different results
But there is plenty or android auto/car play screens available these days

Hello and welcome
If you have the gold version of MRA you can compare how the routes will appear on three different mapping systems
You can find it on the web version under Page menu/Tools you will find "Compare route with" options are tom tom Openstreet and Here
Colours each route overlay differently so you can see any differences, just add way points until they are all the same

Well there you go. I never thought about comparing the routes and adding more points, but will definitely have a go. Thanks for your advice and I’ll let you know. Cheers. Jeff

Re: Apple play mirroring screens.
I recently took the plunge and got a Carpuride W502BS Pro for my 2016 RT, it comes with the mount ready to attach to the BMW factory mount, so that's pretty slick. I read about it not having full wonderwheel control so I knew going in it was not fully functional but all I want is a gps. I tested it today and it does work even with google maps offline maps with a phone that isn't connected to cell service.
The only watchout for these screens is what this guy describes it's what I had to do to mine as well, the mounting base is too thick for the factory mount teeth to grab onto but only by fractions of millimeters. If anyone has any questions or wants to see picture just let me know.
