I am the new owner of a 2016 R1200RT in carbon metallic black. Some of its paint work has suffered due to its previous life as an all weather all year round bike.
The pannier main bodies have had a hard time from stone chips which does not really bother me. However both painted panels also have been blasted by stone chips and bashed by wayward boots.
I am looking at options to refurb the painted panels and was just wondering has any one used Raptor style truck bed paint, I am not too fussed about a paint match as it’s a 10 year old black bike.
