BMW NAV -v- GOOGLE MAPS ON CELL PHONE

Hi guys, I used to own a '21 model which I crashed. This bike had the TFT screen and I could never quite come to terms with using and connecting my Android phone to NAV and music. So slow to connect etc! I just purchased a '24 model and I am pondering whether or not to try and pair the phone to the bike or just install a ram mount with a Quad Lock to mount and connect or use the wireless system in the storage compartment. I don't wish to be making or receiving phone calls when I ride and would just like to use my Artevive blue tooth ear buds which connect to my phone. I'm a member of The Flat Earth Society and just need to keep things as simple as possible for my 74 year old brain! Many thanks in advance.
