There's loads of storage space on a TC RT.

Hi Richard, David has confirmed what I suspected. The Gizmo under the tail unit does seem to be the Tyre Pressure Monitor unit. The "Fuel Pump Bypass Spur" is a small electrical lead which I cobbled together which allows the Fuel Pump Controller to be bypassed if the latter fails and the bike stops. (I did have this happen twice on our Hexhead). I still carry it even though Controller failures do seem to be a thing of the past, He says touching the wooded desk !!. Fitting the Bypass Spur does mean that the Pump will run flat out but it will get you to a dealer or home.richardbd wrote:
ok, go on - I'll ask even if nobody else will...
what on earth are they??
The dimensions of the above do look like they will be ok to fit in the Glovebox, in fact it may even fit on top of the TPMS unit, so thanks for the info David.DaygloDavid wrote: This looks like the one I've got, http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/13764/i/slime-power-sport-tire-inflator,
dimensions of the carrying case & compressor are given in the product information.

I remain sceptical - but willing to be convinced.
Just one problem though...
If the glovebox is full of air pump, where will the satnav live when it's not in its mount?
