Yes I was pleased with the outcome lets hope they have improved the finish/coating on the crankcases, that's why I wondered about date of manufacture/engine No. I am now in the process of running in the engine only managed 150 miles so far service light is counting down from 600 miles to first oil/filter change.

An extended warranty doesn't cover corrosion.
