Bought mine from someone on this forum.  Works just fine - easy to get on and off.  It does however sound the horn when on full left lock.  Other than that it's great.

Agree with above. Great tank bag. Easily transfered to different bikes with yoke. Very well made. Dies sound horn on full lock.

Unless you have upgraded your horn no one will hear it anyway!

Thanks, how does the "baseplate" attach? I believe the BMW bag requires some gluing which I'm not keen on.

The base plate has straps that go around the headstock and fastens using existing screws at the base. No glue and very secure.

I have one for sale on the forum. Includes the baseplate for an RT LC.

Have you considered the SW-MOTECH brand of bag? They feature a quick disconnect system that bolts to your fuel filler door frame. Works great. Pull the cord and off it comes. Easily snaps into position. Fits the RT very well. I have the Daypac model which is pretty large but not as large as the Wunderlich Elephant. No problems with the horn.

I use the Givi tank bag. Reason being it fits the same as the SWmotech, so that when the bag is off, all you see is the retaining ring on the fuel filler and a lot cheaper that the SWM.
Mind you I swapped my wife's SWM bag for the Givi one with my son, just bought the adapter ring.
All is good but with the bag expanded (upwards) it hides a lot of the instruments and on full lock it sounds the horn to advise you you're on full lock (lol).
All in all a good bag to carry all those bits you need after swmbo has filled the panniers and top box with her essential bits.

More options... by the time I order the Norway trip will be completed! I would miss the lack of map pocket though.

Just can't decide, I guess I'll be doing Norway without but I'll miss touring without a "map" pocket for my daily notes!
