Re: Not-so-slow front tire leak
Had a similar issue with a 90 degree valve stem on a Goldwing. I would check pressure prior to a ride only to find I'd lost significant pressure on the next check. Checked for leaks with soapy water and found none. Re pressurized that tire, let it sit overnight, and then checked it the next day. No ...

Re: Internal / Dust Cover
I've got one of these on my 2021 RT (96") and although it's listed for indoor/outdoor use, it's very light weight and fits like a glove. I like it. https://www.amazon.com/XYZCTEM-Motorcycle-Cover-Waterproof -Protection/dp/B081RSSVFV/ref=sr_1_9?crid=25H3OBC0FR05E&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.2FS2I0xT9dS...

Re: Engine guards
My recently purchased RT came equipped with Ilium Works engine and pannier guards. Judging from photos of T-Rex guards, I'd say that the Ilium units probably offer a sturdier mounting system but are priced at twice the cost of the T-Rex units. Also, you might want to consider adding pannier guards w...

CanBus issue
Just aquired q Givi top box with brake light and would like to wire it up but have misgivings about tapping into a Can Bus lead. I'm working with a 2021 RT. Can this be done without the extra cost and complexity of an aftermarket CanBus dongle?

Re: Cleaning Alloy Wheels
Hydrogen peroxide is a very effective bug body remover. Spray a bit on bug remains, wait a couple of minutes, wipe off the mess. Works quite well on windscreens or any area that collects bug remains, Keep it in a dark container, as exposure to light will quickly turn it into plain H2O.

Thanks so much for the tie-down tip. The attached diagram is especially informative. Will be using standard ite downs attached to the fork legs.

Newbie (almost)
Howdie to all. Soon to be new RT1250 owner. Traded my Goldwing on a pristine 2021 RT1250 at Kissel's BMW in Tyrone PA. Will pick-up next week. The Wing served me well and put a lot of smiles on both my wife's and my face. (Note apostrophe after wife). But she no longer is interested in long rides an...

RT1200 Low
Hi to all. Found a 2012 RT1200 that is all I need in a RT, however, it is a RT Low and I am 6"2, not a good match. Question is, what comprises a Low model? Just the seat? Seat and suspension? Is it feasable to convert to standard height? I currently ride an 1800 Goldwing and just need to downsi...
