r1250rt handlebar width

Hi all. In the process of picking up my new to me 1250 and I need a set of Canyon Dancers as I will be traiiering home. Does anyone know the handlebar width of the RT? Seems Canyon Dancers are available in a number of different widths.

Hi. Just in case you are not aware but it is not recommended to tie an RT down by the handlebars at all. I remember reading something a few years ago that it damages the front suspension. The tie down point is to wrap around each fork just above the bottom fork clamp. That gives a solid tie point but does not damage the bars and suspension. The rear ties go behind the rear foot pegs onto each bracket. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for the tie-down tip. The attached diagram is especially informative. Will be using standard ite downs attached to the fork legs.
