The bike, 2020 1250RT, has a lithium-ion battery less than one year old.
I changed out my exhaust system a couple weeks ago, which requires disconnecting/connecting O2 sensors.
Since, I have had the bike out twice for a couple hours each with no problems at all.
Day before yesterday, tried to ...

Re: Anyone else?
I found bmw parts. Typically priced bmw parts!
Bobs bmw in Maryland.
Talked to one of the parts guys (drew, I think). The shipping price automatically set on the website was crazy. He made it right.

Anyone else?
Riding down the road, minding my own business, and the windshield tipped back. Only 1/2 mile from home, so I finished my trek.
Get in the garage to find the two pins or bolts that hold the bottom of the windshield to the up/down frame are gone!

Fitting Ztechnik engine protection
Mounting Ztechnik engine protection to my 2020 1250rt.
On the clutch side, the radiator hose sits on the head of the bolt. Am I doing something wrong? Any way to prevent this?

Re: Gold Wing to RT
Sold my gold wing today and put deposit on an RT. I had a k1600 grand america before the wing. It was fun in the twisties but surprisingly wiggly at highway speed. I’m thinking the RT will be fun in the twisties and stable on the highway. The gold wing was very stable and not bad in the twisties ...

Re: Gold Wing to RT
I didn’t come directly from a GW to the RT but…
Definitely two different rides (obviously, I know). Immediately after buying the GW, I rode to Long Beach to have the suspension rebuilt to the tune of $2500+. Still wasn’t close to what I wanted. Then it dawned on me (yep, I’m a little slow sometimes ...

New to the neighborhood
Bought a 2020 RT in April. Just got off a K1600 GTL. Have had a Kwai Concourse 1400, Gold Wing, Kwai 1200ZZR, Kwai Concourse 1000, and an ancient Gold Wing.
The RT is giving the ZZR a good run for my favorite.

Re: Wunderlich Passenger Armrests
We did a 2250 mile ride. Twisty, country roads, interstate and city riding. The Mrs. love them.
I find I tend to kick the armrest pad when I’m swinging my leg over is the only complaint I have. I could avoid that if I tipped the armrest up, but I would, ost likely forget to put it down and ride ...

Re: Wunderlich Passenger Armrests
Mine are on the way. Glad to hear they went on easily (enough). And, yes, they are pricey.
