Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder (Twincam)
The clutch is failing on my 2010.
Has anyone replaced the original seals on the master cylinder piston with Magura 072211 or KTM 61002032000?

Roundel Side Emblem
This weekend I noticed that one of the side emblems is missing. It probably came off because of the heat and fell off while driving. Only the silver base is still there, with some glue residue left.

Oil Level Sensor
My 2010 RT has lately been showing a strange problem.
Sometimes I can see the OK on the oil level on the dashboard computer, other times, no matter how long I wait, it never goes past 3 dashes.
Just yesterday it worked fine several times, but this morning, after 30km commute to work, when I stopped ...

Re: Oil cooler fan
Sure, what do you need?
I bought the fan and shroud from the R1200RTP, then just install it in place, no adaptations needed.
I've already described here how I made the connections, but if you have any doubts, ask.

Re: Tracker location
I know, you guys over there in the UK are really having a hard time with all the bike thefts, fortunately, it’s not that bad here.
The idea is to use the Monimoto on whichever vehicle is outside. I daily comute on a PCX, but when I travel, I obviously take the RT. I also have an MK1 Escort that ...

Re: Oil cooler fan
I’ve already installed it.
Since the fan only draws about 4 amps, I connected it directly to the battery, adding a switch placed inside the glove-box compartment (there’s no radio). It’s easy to access when needed, but at the same time, it doesn’t alter the cockpit’s aesthetics or require ...

Re: Tracker location
I also bought a Monimoto 7, but the problem is that I’m going to use it in several vehicles, so the spot needs to be both hidden and accessible without having to remove panels. Any ideas?

Re: Gearbox clunking
I went through exactly the same experience when I got my RT, until one day in traffic I approached a stranger who was also riding an RT from the same generation. He immediately told me that it was perfectly normal and showed me that his bike made the same noises too. The fact is, many tens of ...

Re: Wiring accessories on a '12 RT - Best trigger wire location?
Well, I think you've already said everything.
If it’s just a positive wire to activate the relay, you can use the accessory ports, keeping in mind that they stay active for 60 seconds after you turn off the key.
As for where to run the wires, I chose to always follow the original wiring, using a ...

Re: Top box latching mechanism
All the tutorials, posts, photos, and videos I find always refer to the bottom half. What I really want is to take apart the lining of the top half. It just won’t come apart no matter what. Do you know if there are screws underneath the seal?

Top box latching mechanism
Hello everyone,
Today my top box showed some strange resistance when closing. I opened and closed it several times and noticed that when I pressed the lid down, it would close without that resistance. I realized that this part marked in the photo is loose — it’s not fixed like the others — and that ...

Oil cooler fan
Hello everyone!
I bought an OEM fan for the oil cooler of my 2010 RT.
Although it is still in transit, I was planning how to make the connection, and since civilian RTs do not have their own connection, I was thinking of connecting it to the 12V socket located on the left side of the bike. That is ...

Re: Running issues
This past weekend I had some time to take apart the fuel pump controller and check underneath it. I found a goo-like liquid, the fcp itself had condensation droplets on the underside, plus a dead bug and lots of dirt. Before jumping into buying a new fcp, I decided to give it a good cleaning and ...
