I confess
I confess
because K16 aggressive riders tend to bad-rap the PR4, claiming they drift on hard turns, I have stayed away from them.
Recently, while on the road, I got stuck with a pair of PR4 from Sandy UT Beemer cause that's all they had.
And I confess: they are now my preferred tires. Smooth, quite, great grip, and excellent in wet.
Maybe they don't work well on the K16, but they are superb on the RT.

If it takes you all day to do something you used to do all day, you are getting old.

I have a new PR4 GT on the rear and the front has about another 3k left in it. I have had no issues with the PR4, good grip in wet and dry. What makes the Metzler better? Or is it just as good?

Re: I confess
If folks are 'complaining' of a tyre drifting on a turn I would suggest they may be going too fast to make the turn and physics are taking over. I've drifted wide on a corner a few times on response and never blamed the tyre, just too F'ing fast....................................

At least no one can hear the arguments about Bluetooth commsrichardbd wrote: agree 100%. Tyres is a subject where even more nonsense is talked than bluetooth comms!

I had several pairs of PR3 and 4 on the old GT and loved them. The test bike had PR4s, and my new RT has Z08s. Early days, but so far they seem ok, just a bit fidgety by comparison.
