Ok so I am still tempted by the riser kit for my '15, not sure if I'm going to like them when pressing on, so before I splash out on the wunderlich kit I'm tempted to try the cheap chinese ones to see if I get on with them.So is there anyone in the UK who has the removal tool that they would be willing to lend me please? I'd obviously pay postage, and I'd be happy to leave a deposit with you, wife, dog (but not my cats) or even money....I'm based near Northampton.ThanksNick
LC Handlebar removal tool - UK ??
Re: LC Handlebar removal tool - UK ??
Hello,
I know this is a long time after the original post. Did you ever install risers and then remove them? I recently bought a used 2019 with handlebar risers already installed, and I'm wondering if I'd rather return it to stock. It does block the mirrors having them installed...

I cannot help you with the tool. But I did purchase the cheap AliExpress risers. They work just fine. No problems. They are much stronger than they appear. Last year I dropped my bike. A very strong friend stepped up to give me a hand. In one quick move, he grabbed the lower grip and righted the bike. In a moment of horror, I expected to see the riser break off. To my amazement, it didn't even bend a little.
I don't worry about them anymore.

If you break them loose and then rock them forward, that should improve your view of the mirror.yoke27 wrote: Tue Jul 22, 2025 6:56 pm Hello,
