Re: Maxxis Tyres
Everyone has different views on tyres. Max is get good reviews from the states as a long lasting tyres. That's from K1600 owners. But they do a lot of straight road riding. Our Gee wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 12:40 pm Maxxis replaced at 2350 miles. Not at all happy after a couple of wet slides. Replaced with Metzeler Roadtec 01 SE. In all fairness I can say that I never had any complaints with the Maxxis in "dry " weather. They did give a nice ride with plenty of grip. Incidentally, my chosen tyre fitter said he wouldn't have sold me them as they are Shxxx ! !.
