Hi All, just a quick one.
I've seen loads and loads of threads about sound bombs, but can't find the answer so I'll ask the question:
2015 1200RT with 1x standard horn mounted in the fairing. Looking to upgrade with EZCan system including horn. Just need to know if I need to get the SPLIT sound bomb and do some magic fitting it, or if the solid unit will fit in place.
Also - Mounting bracket. There seems to be a few options available. Is a bracket necessary or will it bolt on to where the original is?
Anyone know the answer?
Cheers.
Sound bomb or SPLIT sound bomb.

Standard sound bomb can go in the same space as the OE horn. You can buy a bracket or make one yourself. On my bike I have a standard hon and a sound bomb Both fit where the OE horn sits. Both use about 7w. Anything above will trip the cambus.

I have the sound bomb one piece and it is great and fits under the headlight still.

I have the low tone horn from a BMW 5-series car. Naturally it is compatible with the existing bike plug.
