Donations for our site

Post by Doctor T »

Hi chaps. As Christmas is approaching and you may be still shopping for some gifts, how about a little donation to help with the running of our site.
Running this site is not cheap to run and thanks to Stu our site admin and a few members this site stays live on the web.
Any donations/subscriptions are very much appreciated and 100% of monies go towards keeping the server up and running. The total costs are in excess of £1000 annually.
If you wish to put a few coopers in the pot it is easy to do. You can make a one off payment starting at just only £3.00/ $3.00.
One way is to go to the Subscriptions button just under the site banner or click on link below
app.php/groupsub/subs
Remember there is no pressure on anyone and the site will stay free to use by everyone.

Thanks Iain

David,
how do you know people wanted there name posted as a supporter / subscriptions provider.

As Doctor T stated "No one will know if or if not you made a donation. Unless you tell people. That is your choice"
You have taken my choice away and provided my details.

I wish you would ask prior to sharing others details, whether they are on the forum or not for others to search.

To make Forum Supporters anonymous, can this be changed to blue, the same as Registered users and the Forum Supporters page removed.

Then the two threads deleted.

As I paid cash in hand, my name was added manually, so presumably can be removed. Not that I'm asking for it to be.

OK I've removed the part that states no one will know if you've donated or not. Funny my name isn't on there, but that's probably because I turned green.

Forget about all the banter and swabbing. You all like this forum, with the numbers of members on here, we make the BMW club look like a joke. I belonged to the club and found it crap. The other different is they charge £40 per year. So for a small donation I think you will agree it's a bargain.

And as jesim1 said,
jesim1 wrote: Tue Jun 25, 2024 7:36 pmIt's not a lot to help the site keep going, you only have to get one decent deal, a bit of useful information, a pointer to better insurance, the list goes on, but you will have your £20 back again and again.
