I've used The Undealership in Redwood City on the San Francisco peninsula and been happy with them, specializing in BMW and Triumph, but they'll work on others. http://www.theundealership.com/

With dealer feedback and hourly labour rates being discussed elsewhere, how about revisiting this thread.

In the NE of England, Mick Kendrick may have retired and Stuart at the Workshop York has ceased servicing BMW motorcycles.

Is anyone aware of an independent workshop servicing BMW's in the NE, and/or would like to add to the existing list.

I haven't tried them yet, but https://www.churchstrettonmotorcycles.com/ are a BMW specialist in south Shropshire
