He currently has A2 but can now do his mod 1. The Deauville has a throttle stop restrictor. It looks like he's about to do a deal on a brand new V Strom 650, the numbers seem to work for him.

I might be an odd one!
I got my first Pan European in 2004 aged 32, except for the Tiger 1200 and the short stint with the GS adventure bikes, it's the only style of bike I've had since, that being 2 FJR1300, 2 Pans and 2 GTR1400.

As regards retirement, I'm still working, apprentice trained plumber, and actually enjoying work most of the time although the body is slowing down now, I have to make sure I have everything to hand before getting onto my knees because it's an effort to stand up again 😆

It seems I'm one of the few in my 40's with an RT!

Just picked up my first bike in 20 years - a 2023 R1250RT LE - to get back into biking with. So far, I absolutely love it!

Retired in 2015 a little early.
Retirement comes through working for the School System in the Great State of California. The longer you work, the more you get... but I'd seen too many teachers plan their retirement and then then die the year after! 'Wanted to avoid that.
