Easyrider
Has anyone heard from Easyrider (Martin) since the beginning of November, I dropped him a PM the other day, but no reply. Hopefully he is not back in hospital again.

Good News and Bad News
The good news is Easy_Rider is alive & kicking.
The bad news is he's active on another forum. I saw a post from him dated yesterday.
I don't recall anyone here upsetting him, but hey, we're all entitled to chose where we browse, ask questions or voice our opinions without having to justify it.

Re: Easyrider
You would have to ask him that!David. wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 6:03 pm Does this mean EasyRider won't be attending the UK Annual Meet 2025.

Just because he is posting on another forum doesn't exclude him from this forum or attending the annual meet after all there is other people joining who aren't on the forum

Re: Easyrider
I think that goes without saying if he was organising it and he isn't here to organise it
But to exclude him from others is just ridiculous

Re: Easyrider
Is it something we could organise ourselves do you think??. If only I had the ability to go through my Google maps history and find where we went and stayed at? Aberystwyth train station somewhere between Middlesbrough and Portsmouth comes to mind but I'm not quite sure?MikeS wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 5:41 pm Screenshot_20250107_173417_Chrome.jpg
Does this mean that the second South West and South Wales area meet is off the the cards?

Re: Easyrider
This is what Ashley & I did last year (2024), we stayed at the Abergavenny, Premier Inn.

Re: Easyrider
This is a short circular route from Aberystwyth, taken from the Reader's Digest book, "The most amazing scenic journeys in Britain".

Re: Easyrider
For this year (2025), EasyRider suggested the following.
Ride from Abergavenny to Aberystwyth, stay overnight and then back to Abergavenny via Fishguard.
For something to do, "using back and B roads", think I'll have a go to see what this could look like.
