I have R1200RT 2013 year. And for a while it have problem with sputtering engine at around 3000rpm on harder acceleration. Doesn’t matter what gear ride on. If to open gas gently then everything goes okey. I even noticed that if to open gas fully from lets say 1500 or 2000rpm it’s comes through 3000rpm quite okey. But if to do same at 2800 or 3000rpm it feels like whole machine is in huge turbolence. After 3500rpm everything goes quite okey but also noticed if I open accelerator fully and then release it a bit back it goes better then on full power. I went to few motorcycle repair shops. I changed plugs couple times. I changed coils to new one. Still same problem exist. When i bought motorcycle there wasn’t such problem. What am i missing? To what part i should look further? Or what i should do instead of selling it? Love this machine, travelling with it a lot even with this problem. Still want to have full power of it

Re: Engine sputtering on acceleration at around 3000rpm
So this exact thing happened with my cbr600. It took me ages to work it out. I changed the battery and the symptoms went away and I thought I'd solved it. But after a week or so the symptoms came back. That led me to the regulator rectifier, which when I replaced fixed the problem. Just something to think about.

Do the throttle bodies need to be synchronised?
From Google AI
"When a twin-cylinder engine's throttle bodies are out of sync, you might experience symptoms like rough idling, uneven acceleration, surging or hesitation during throttle input, poor fuel economy, and a noticeable vibration at low RPMs; essentially, the engine will not run smoothly as one cylinder may be receiving more air than the other, causing inconsistent power delivery. "
Just a guess as I'm not a motorcycle mechanic

From this thread, "Flat spot under hard acceleration", viewtopic.php?p=74488&hilit=acceleration#p74488 the solution was to fit a new fuel pump/filter and clean the injectors.

Re: Engine sputtering on acceleration at around 3000rpm
Here is another thread, "Flat spot/Hesitation", viewtopic.php?t=3581&hilit=acceleration does this issue sound similar.
Looks like it may have been water in the fuel and/or O2 sensors. (No conclusion posted on the O2 sensors).
Perhaps fuel supply is the common issue.
