Bought a portable jump starter with power bank. With five cars and six bikes you never know when you may need one.

Just 49,90 euros at local Lidl so it was a bargain.

Spent the night in hospital. Bloody Gaza protesters having a sit inn at Barclays Bank in Chichester. Just about to leave, when I twisted around and went head over heels because one of the prats decided to sit down right behind me. Over I went kicking him on the shoulder and hitting my head on the floor. I was out for a good five minutes, lucky there were 4 police officers in there trying to remove the idiots. I came to hear the prat I had fallen over wanted to press charges on me. The copper quietly told him to shut up and asked if I wanted to press charges on him for ABH.
3 Hours later the police officer came to interview me in the hospital bed.Taking pictures of my leg and head. He said he has seen the banks video and said I can push for ABH or GBH if I wish. Darn right I do. Ive ended up with a black bruise on my leg and a big lump at the back of my head also a massive headache.
Got a call just after 2pm this afternoon to be told that he had been arrested and probably be in court on Monday.

I'm all in favor of folks being able to express their views. But, those who block streets, sidewalks, or damage property deserve nothing but contempt and whatever penalties the law will allow!
I hope you recover quickly and your courts give the fellow what he deserves!

It doesn't get better than worse. My wife had tummy pains on Saturday, 12 hours in A&E before seeing a doctor. Sorted with meds in 15 mins. Now am playing nurse for the next few weeks.
Good start to a new year

I hope you both are back to good health soon. I'm sure your wife couldn't wish for a better nurse and it's wonderful you are in a position to be able to care for her :thumb:

There is the 2025 Motorcycle Show in Helsinki this weekend so we went there with my buddy.

There are typically good offers available so this time I got myself an Arai Quantic.

I was hoping to get the new RX-7V Evo but the bottom opening is rather tight so Quantic felt so much better to put on/off.

Arai Tour-X5 was interesting (for my Tiger 1200) but I was not quite ready for these adventure helmets yet.

I find that the trouble with the likes of the RX7 is they are a sports bike helmet and seem to be made for that riding position and on a touring bike they can actually be too noisy and less aerodynamic
