Just got a second hand r1200rt from 2011 and I was looking for the right community to learn from & share. I think I'm in the right place
About me, I'm 40 but I've only been riding bikes for a few years. Started with a small Royal Enfield 650, then went with a Guzzi v85tt, and now I'm finally riding the queen of the road
That was THE bike I was aiming for and I couldn't be happier with the first few hundred kilometers since I got it 
! I'm riding pretty much in any weather so the heated seat/grips and perfect wind protection is much appreciated... I will soon be looking at some heavy commuting (300kms per day), and I think I now have the perfect bike for it!I have always enjoyed "personalizing" my previous bikes, and with the RT I am looking at increased visibility for me (brighter headlight + a pair of aux fog lights) and from others (aux rear lights + aux brake light). And maybe a wider windshield (looking at the Wunderlich marathon shield). So I will be searching through the forums to find some tips
