Would you use it when you can get the OE BMW stuff for £67.97.
Smith & Allan, £28.99 for 5 litres, https://www.smithandallan.com/product/s ... e-oil-4120
I've previously supplied Motul oil to a BMW dealer and they were quite happy to use it.

That's not a bad price @EasyRider
I usually use silkolene and get it from motorworks at £55 for 4 litres the downside is you always have to pay for delivery!

Is this the Silkolene oil, if so, it's £5 less and free delivery, https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorc ... rod/530445
SportsBikeShop do seem to have some offers on oil. Recently got some Castrol for the RT and Motul for the XJ650.

Re: Motul 7100 Fully Synthetic 5W40
I brought 3 x 4ltr Motul 7100, It was the same price i could get the BMW oil for.
I was told the Motul 7100 is a very good oil.
Also one of the reasons i wanted to try this oil was to see if it did give "easier and faster gear changing".

looks like the seller is away till the end on the month. which seems odd.

if you add 8 units to your basket it works out at £45 for 4 ltrs

Shell manufacture the 5w40 viscosity range for BMW. It's exclusive to BMW (Advantec) and not available directly from Shell themselves.

BMW recommends 5W-40 ADVANTEC original BMW engine oil, (made by Shell).
