The sat nav side of things is purely dependent on your phone as the unit connects to your phone and uses whichever app you want for navigation

Re: New Chigee version on the way
I am just about to order one for my 1200RT. I have the 2018 model so will be getting the CGRC module too so that I can use the wheel. I have read there is an issue with simultaneous controls between the Chigee unit and the BMW menu. Not sure how bad or how avoidable that is but I'll find out soon.

Re: New Chigee version on the way
Works an absolute treat on my 2018 RT1200. Got the Bluetooth CGRC and the jog wheel works fine. Some things don’t work like the rev gauge but CarPlay works great, music and navigation also fine. Fuel range is displayed which is nice but for me it’s all about the CarPlay for nav and music on a long trip. The jog wheel was a must for me so I’m not messing about with gloves and no temptation to use the screen while riding. Can’t fault it.
