Had my first service yesterday, they updated (I don’t know what version yet) but this am it was still ticked! I’m not a trusting one so I’m going to be checking the tick until it stays on for at least a week…. Maybe a month.. or year?!?
If the tick lasts a couple of hours you are fine and very much if it stays overnight.
Except you live in NYC, as the city never sleeps. :-)
Thank you for posting the updates on this "Comfort Turn Signal" auto reset issue. It's been really annoying. It's not a major issue but since I use auto canceling turn indicators on all my other vehicles I would simply prefer not to have to deal with different functioning on the RT. I'm a new member with a 24 R 1250 RT and absolutely love it. Thanks again for posting the update info. Looking forward to getting the update next time I'm at my dealer. I don't suppose there is a way to do the update myself? I'm 3 hours from my dealer.
Greetings, I am new to this group. Been riding over 50 years. I have a 2024 R 1250 RT. Upon returning from a two week ride through many passes in the Alps where I rented one of these beautiful machines, I bought one and sold my GS. I was able to purchase mine with 171 miles on it!!! My bike is having the same reset issues involving the so-called comfort setting. I just had the break-in service done at my local dealer (San Francisco BMW) and I pointed the problem out to the service writer. They knew nothing of a software update. is there something specific I can direct him to so that I may be able to get the 014_015_020 software?
Make an appointment with Cal Moto with Jeff and the Tech Alex... They did a SW update which fixed my issue... Perhaps the SFO shop can call them and get briefed. Good Luck!
