Does this look like the correct route, where are the P&T stops. (North York Moors not Yorkshire Dales).

Very similar to the one I created for myself, with P&T stops.

In answer to your questions. 1. Yes, it looks like the correct route. 2. I've no idea where the P&T stops are? I didn't create the route, I left it to the organiser. 3. " North Yorkshire Moors not North Yorkshire Dales" is irrelevant to us Lancashire folks, we whupped your ass on the last war, be thankful we allow you to live there.

Yes the route you created yourself by guessing the route looks lovely. Give yourself a pat on the back.

First stop, will be Thornton le dale, I thought some of the group who aren’t from round here, might like 20/30 mins looking at Mathewson's, of Bangers and Cash fame, those that don’t can find a coffee in the beautiful village itself.
Lunch stop this time could possibly be a Chippy, I’m led to believe there is a tremendous one in Saltburn by the Sea, and probably won’t be as busy as Whitby.
3rd and last stop will be the market Sq in Masham.

I’m aware that for a few riders, some of the roads might be familiar, and stops not to everybody’s liking, but I’ve tried to make it a bit different for the Southern softies, who don’t get up this way to often 😀

I’m looking forward to seeing everybody again, especially the old faces, but equally the new ones 👍

Having been born in North Yorkshire and living there for the last 40 years, the roads and P&T stops are familiar to me.

Apologies if I've missed it but what time does the ride start on the Saturday? Is it from the Golden Fleece?

Unfortunately I've just remembered that I need to stay local (Cheshire) next weekend.

I've done a route up to Thirsk from Chesterfield Bob, it's about 4 hours and 140 miles, I'll share it with the group that are staying in Chesterfield on the Thurs night Fri morning and we can decide from there. 👍

I'm thinking of a route from nr Telford, up over the Forest of Bowland > Settle > Malham Tarn > Pateley Bridge > Thirsk, approx 180 miles
