Can anyone help? I want to use an old smartphone with no SIM card as a standalone GPS device.
I've tried using Google Maps, but after entering a destination, I receive a warning that it requires Wi-Fi to search. Can anyone tell me what I need to turn on or off the make it work. Also tried other map services like OS and Waves, but it's the same.

According to Google, you need to download offline maps and then it will work.
