Hello again to the BMW RT brain trust.... after having a near riot of a time with my last RT and somewhat recovered from the experience, I am thinking I should do it again. I found a 16 with 60k miles that I think has both a bad or outgoing clutch and possibly a headgasket.... intermittent white smoke and misfires.... With a clutch under my belt, I am comfortable doing that again, so wondering how much drama a headgasket could be. The bike fires off straight away but as soon as it comes up to temp it is misfiring and will spew some white smoke intermittently....this is seller relating info to me, I have not seen it first hand.
Any ideas? I have not heard of HG's blowing out on these bikes, is that a thing? and how hard could it be with the head hanging off the side of the bike with plenty of accessiblity?
Thanks for any insight/comments
