There is a service in the US called "WeBuyMotorcycles.com"
It exists to relieve motorcycle owners of bikes they just don't want anymore... running or not.
It's very convenient.
They offered $300 for my 2008. Running and in great shape.
That venerable motorcycle is off to a new future, and so am I.
Many people here offered their time and expertise beyond price.
