Battery

Hi I had charged the battery.had a run about. Stopped won't start. Terminal on battery very hot.
Loose wire . Charged battery again .Still not start. Battery seems flat ,but charger said full .
Put on charger again half flat. Is the battery short circuited. Thanks Ernie Dundee Scotland

Have you allowed the battery to run flat?

Yeah it was. But terminal wire was loose.

If the battery has gone flat at some point and being left flat then the chances are its knackered and not able to provide the amps the bike requires to start

All good now . New battery. The old battery was not that old a year .

The loose wire could have shorted it out
Trust me I am a retired Doctor and lecturer at Oxford University of Structural and Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
