Headlight bulb orientation [Haynes wrong?]
My Haynes manual assures me that the tabs on the bulb base plate should be pointing down with the high beam and up for the low. I have had three RTs, and still have two of them, a 2005 and a 2007. Both of them have the tab up for the high beam in the middle. I may have a vague recollection of my 2009 having a different orientation of the high beam. I find it unlikely that BMW would change things up in the middle of a model run, but not at all unlikely that my memory is untrustworthy. Did Haynes get it wrong, or did the BMW mess with their own design?
