The only topic I could find on this is 6 years old. Hoping someone has some new info.
The O ring on the high pressure side of the fuel pump failed last week. I installed an O ring from a set I have. The connection still leaks, but not as much. The O ring I'm using is 6.8mm ID, 10.6mm OD and 1.9mm section.
Does anyone know the specs of the BMW O ring? I can't find anything online about it. I can't find the part number either. A call to the nearest BMW dealer's parts department (105 miles away) indicated that they have no idea what I'm talking about.

Re: Fuel pump connector leak
So I found the part number and the size, 7mm ID, 2mm diameter. However, I can't find any place that carries them. I can order them online, but I need one by this Thursday morning so I can make it to my doc appt. I'm in Barstow CA. Anyone know a place nearby that would carry these O rings?
Re: Fuel pump connector leak
Just had that happen to me today. Please post the part number you found. Much appreciated
Thanks

I had the quick release fuel connectors fail recently, they are plastic and they crack and fail over time. I would strongly recommend you replace them before they fail
I replaced the with metal ones, from here
