Deagostini 1/4 Hayabusa Model

Post by EasyRider »

I found myself hooked on the Deagostini 1/4th size 1999 Hayabusa model.
I brought one, then another and so on. I now have 4 of them.
When the Hayabusa came out in the uk in 1999 it came in 3 colours.
Red/Black, Black/Grey and Copper/Silver.
So I'm going to pain 2 of them in the Red/Black and Black/Grey colours so i have one of each.
The 4th model i am leaving the fairings off as the detail is very good and woth being on show.
When my project Hayabusa is finished, It will be in doors in a display case whith the 4 models.
At the moment the models are on the sideboard in the snug for now.
They don't look very big in the photo, But they are 21" long.
The lights all work, and the base it sits on makes the sound of the horn and engine running and reving.
Don't ask how much i paid, all i will say is there not cheap.
