Replacing the headlights

I was changing the headlight and the small wire bracket that holds the light in flew out & went inside the fairing somewhere and I can’t find it. Then changed both high beams with the H1 lights and they do not work & wanted to see if the fuse would be the problem. Still need to get to the wire thing as we & want to know if there is an easy way to get the complete light setup changed and or fixed? No lights at all.
