I have just bought a very neglected 07 R1200Rt p. x2 of the brake pipes are not connected to anything and only the N light comes on in the warning light area. I assume in the past someone had trouble with the ABS and disconnected these pipes. one pipe is in the vicinity of the rear brake lever and the other is in the area behind the headstock. Where should these pipes be connected to? How might they have disabled the warning lights (perhaps something un-plugged) and is it worth getting the ABS unit overhauled?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks
Gary

Re: 07 R1200RT
2006-2007 was the changeover year from servo-assisted brakes to non-servo
if it's a servo-assisted model, the ABS could have been removed entirely, this is quite a common thing to do
i have a 2007 R1200RT and it's the non-servo model. the ABS packed up a few years ago but the brakes still work and pass the MOT, i just have the warning lights on the dash, which i have put tape over!
I would guess that you have the non-servo version, like mine is
