Is that a Bannan in your pocket? Most breakages happen in the lower leg and ankle bones. These seem to only protect the upper legs and the crown jewels

I'm sure those are very good protection in an unfortunate case of a crash.
I can imagine they may be quite warm with that extra layer of stuff around your body.
