Hi,
Does anyone, in the UK, have any idea how much a dealer might charge to reset your service light ?

Sorry no idea!
I have heard stories of them refusing unless they service it!
Maybe try and find an independent specialist or someone with unlimited gs-911 or motoscan

Re: Service light
Sorry to say, but ebay is the best place to find some one to reset the service light.

Re: Service light
The minimum service a BMW dealer will do is an oil & filter change which should include a service light reset.
The WorkShop at York will do it for £35 + VAT https://www.theworkshopyork.com/our-services
but you'll have to be quick, they are closing on 1st April 2024, https://www.theworkshopyork.com/

Re: Service light
Don't know if it will work on the RT but on my old K1600 you could set the date on the clock back a year and it went out. It's worth a try and it's free

Re: Service light
Hi,
Thanks for all your replies. I was interested to learn how long it might take to recover the outlay for UniCarScan UCSI-2100 and MotoScan Ultimate.
Resetting the service reminder, to my preference, was easy. There are lots of other settings that look like I need to leave alone !
One problem is in the instrument cluster (KOMBI) settings under coding, there are no parameters listed, just a blank page so you can not reset
anything ! Anyone else have this setup ? My bike is a 2020 1250 RT LE K52 OJ61
